Maritime Filming

 

In my role as Technical Manager at North One TV, I oversaw all the technical aspects of filming 3 Clipper "Round the World" races and 1 Velux "5 Oceans" race for Discovery, from sourcing and installing the onboard camera systems to maintaining the kit and checking rushes.  I also travelled to each port to film the arrivals and departures. I have also covered the Talisker Atlantic Rowing race so I have a full understanding of the challenges and tech required for filming out at sea.
